IBM decided to take up the challenge against its cloud competitors by announcing the development of its cloud division on Wednesday. It further announced the initiation of a new cohesive cloud computing strategy.
IBM has decided to tie up with Amazon Web Services to offer to clients its innovative cloud software with new strategies such as “pay as you go” program. This plan will help clients to access knowledge and software in the Amazon Elastic Cloud Environment. This is not a new development for IBM as its past business partnerships show that it had made a $ 300 million investment for the development of 13 cloud computing centers in the month of November in 2008.
